Home sweet home, Nikki fans!
Infinity Nikki is an open-world dress-up adventure game where you play as Nikki, a stylish girl who explores a colorful fantasy world with her cute cat, Momo. You collect outfits that give you special abilities, like floating or fixing things, to solve puzzles and complete quests. The game mixes fashion, exploration, and adventure, letting you dress up in different styles while discovering magical places.
A fresh leak has surfaced in the Infinity Nikki community, offering players a sneak peek at what could be the game’s highly anticipated player housing system. With a leaked image of a heart-shaped home island and a glimpse of its dreamy lavender fields, it looks like gamers will soon have a space to call their own in this cozy multi-platform game.
If speculation holds true, the player housing system may arrive as early as Update 1.3.
A Home of Your Own in Infinity Nikki?
Cozy RPG Infinity Nikki has made waves since its launch, drawing in a global audience and expanding the beloved Nikki franchise beyond its dress-up roots into an open-world adventure. Packed with treasure hunts, fashion challenges, and mini-games, the game provides a wealth of content without forcing players to spend money.
Now, it seems Infold is set to take things a step further by introducing a dedicated housing system—something fans (including myself) have been eagerly awaiting.
The first hints of housing appeared in an official Update 1.0 livestream, but thanks to online user @KK_ChainKris, players now have a clearer look at what’s in store. The user name “KK_ChainKris” was watermarked on the leaked images, but I haven’t found a socials account to go with it yet, so please share if this is you or you know who this is on X, Instagram, or elsewhere.
The Infinity Nikki housing leak showcases a home island map with plenty of space for customization. If true, this could mean housing is just around the corner.
Why Update 1.3 Makes Sense for Housing
There are a couple of strong indicators that the housing feature is coming in Update 1.3. First, Infold has promised to release a new region every six months, and by the end of Update 1.2, Infinity Nikki will be at the halfway mark of its time in Wishfield. Second, certain collectible Whim Balloons are still missing from Firework Isles, leading many to believe they’ll be tied to the new home island.
Since its December 2024 launch, Infinity Nikki has received frequent quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback, and Infold’s responsiveness has been widely praised. They even send out frequent player surveys to get a pulse on how gamers are interacting with the mechanics and storylines.
The upcoming home system is expected to include both interior and exterior customization right from the start, allowing players to personalize their space in a way that complements the game’s whimsical aesthetic.
And if past updates are anything to go by, the feature will likely evolve with future patches.
Until then, fans can only dream of what’s to come—cozy home designs, decorative gardens, and maybe even a space for Nikki to unwind after a long day of fashion adventures.
Stay cozy, gamers!
