Winter holidays are around the corner! I picked out some gift ideas for cozy gamers. I looked for gift ideas that fit the “cozy” aesthetic, as well as stuff that is reviewed 4 stars or higher on Amazon. In my opinion, the cozy aesthetic can be quite varied: pastel, cottagecore, minimalist, or cute. It can also, quite simply, be fan merchandise for popular cozy games like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing.
I haven’t tried all of these items myself but I picked stuff that I would love to receive as a gift. If there is any item you want me to review specifically, ping me on social media and I’ll see what I can do!
I am not an Amazon Affiliate partner at this time. I do not make commissions on this post, they are just products I find cool. I will always provide a transparency statement for anything given to me for free, posted as a paid advertisement, and/or connected to any sort of “kick back” program.

Stardew Valley Tumbler
I don’t need a tumbler, I don’t need a tumbler, I don’t need…
I require coffee to function so I have mugs on mugs on mugs on mugs. If I had even an ounce of space left in my cups cupboard, I would own this Stardew Valley tumbler already. I’m waiting for one of mine to break or something. Maybe leaving them on the edge of a table for my cat to find will do the trick. I have some really old mugs where the text/image is hardly even visible anymore, but I hate waste so I can’t bear to part with them.
Mushroom Tea Mug
This cozy little mushroom tea cup is my favorite thing in the whole wide world. I bought this glass and loved it to death, until I dropped it too hard into the sink and boke the handle. RIP. It was perfect for loose leaf tea, though, and will definitely replace it one day. Wash carefully! You can see it action on my Instagram page, you just have to scroll way down now. T__T
Mushroom Cold Drink Glass
I prefer cold coffee to hot coffee, so this mushroom water glass was made for me. The little bamboo lid is so cute, too. See my rant above for how little space I have in my cups cupboard, otherwise this little treasure would be mine already. The cup holds 16oz, and they sometimes have different patterns—like succulents, strawberries, and sunflowers—but they are often limited supply.
Kawaii Sweet World Cookbook
I love cupcakes and I love cookies. So who could resist a cupcake-shaped cookie? The Kawaii Sweet World cookbook by Rachel Fong features 75 adorable and easy-to-make recipes, like corgi cakes, narwhal cake pops, and emoji cookies. This is great for people who enjoy spending time in the kitchen and love to impress their guests with unique treats.
Bubble Candle – Cube Soy Wax Candles
I can’t light candles anymore because my cat tries to play with the flame. (RIP tail-fluff.) But I have two of these bubble cube candles for Instagram Reel backdrop accoutrement and just general workspace decoration. I bought the white and the pink ones. Honestly, they are too cute to burn anyway!
Each candle weighs ~5.5oz and the size is 2.36″W x 2.2″H, so relatively small. (Think: Palm of your hand.)
Capri Blue Glimmer Mini Tin
I’d feel silly having a candle on my list that I don’t even recommend burning, so here’s one that I do! I love the glitter tin for the mini (3oz) candle, but there are larger sizes that have more of a gradient, too. I have no idea what a “volcano” candle is supposed to smell like but this candle is one of my favorites on the outside, aesthetically speaking. Plus, a candle with a lid is always nice so it doesn’t collect dust when you’re not using it.
You can currently buy them in sizes: 3 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 19 oz, 28 oz, and 48 oz.
Chwares Cat Night Light
I own this lamp and I’m obsessed. You pat it to change the color of the light. It’s battery operated so it can sit anywhere, not necessarily near an outlet. I have it on my bookcase! They now have a remote for it, which wasn’t an option when I bought it. I’d love the ability to change colors without getting up to smack it on the head. They also have owl, bunny, and unicorn options—the unicorn is particularly cute, imho.
Console Accessories
PowerA Protection Case for Nintendo Switch
There is a non-zero chance that I end up with two, three, or even four of these cases eventually, especially the Pikachu ones! These cases come in a variety of pattern choices, from Mario to Pokemon to Legend of Zelda and more. Each has a built-in play stand for Tabletop Mode as well as a padded flap with game storage for ten game cartridges.
GeekShare Nintendo Switch Teddy Case
I love the idea of a soft/fuzzy Nintendo Switch case. It will make holding your Switch more cozy when you are dumping 16 straight hours into redecorating your Animal Crossing island. And just look at its little toe beans!
According to the listing, this plush protective case is only compatible with regular Nintendo Switch, not compatible with Nintendo Switch OLED and Switch Lite.
GUTIAL Pink Nintendo Switch Accessory Kit
I love that this comes with everything you need to accessorize your Nintendo Switch. And in my favorite color: pink! The little paw and flower button caps are to die for. It comes with other color and pattern varieties, too (Hello Kitty, Dorimon), but they look mega-bootleg so I’d avoid them.
ROTALL Strawberry Nintendo Switch Carrying Case
Sorry, one more pink Switch accessory! I had to! Look how cute it is! This has “summer cozy” vibes for sure but I would use it year round regardless. Are strawberries objectively the cutest fruit? I say yes.
Office & Desk Decor
Britimes Boho Mouse Pad (Large)
This mouse pad is too big for my desk or else I would already own it. The boho style has been popping up more and more in popular cozy gamer setups. It pairs well with a little leafy plant and some stacked books.
They offer a variety of colors and patterns, all of them gorgeous, so definitely flip through them before you make up your mind. The sparkly pink, palm leaves, and blue starry sky are three more of my faves.
Mechanical Cattle Froggy Mouse Pad
Cottagecore cozy is winning me over a little bit more every day. I love the color green and I love frogs. Every single day my heart flip-flops between a theme for my office area: all pink and white, or light green everything. Right now I have a bit of both, but I also work off of my kitchen table so the vibe is not immaculate.
BerniceKelly Cloud LED Lamp
I love it when cozy game setups have a tasteful LED lamp hung on the wall. Sky themes are my favorite: clouds, stars, sun, or moon. Whether I end up leaning into a pink theme or a green theme, a white cloud light always fits in. It may not be great if you have darker walls, though, because the white cord hangs down from it in order to turn it on.
PC Gaming
Red Dragon LED Gaming Mouse
White with neon LED is such a vibe. Plus, once you go “programmable mouse buttons,” you’ll never go back. I use mine for quick, one-handed copy/pasting, which is helpful for blogging but also for tons of tasks for my 9-to-5 job.
Lomiluskr Bunny Mouse
Okay so this might not be great for serious gaming but I love love love this pink bunny mouse. It’s a great novelty device and a cute stocking stuffer idea. It’s nice to have a cheap, wireless mouse for on-the-go clicking, anyway.
Yunzii “Typewriter” Keyboard
This is so cute that I wish I had a desktop rather than a laptop. I am a writer (professional and hobbyist) so this typewriter keyboard really speaks to me. Pastel green is so cozy, too. It’s kind of inspiring me to get a real typewriter, though…
Mofii Mouse and Keyboard (Powder Blue)
Having a matching cozy keyboard and mouse combo is the dream. I love the mismatched key colors and the round cap style. It reminds me of candy (intrusive thought: bite it). Round keys do nice things to the pleasure center in my brain, too. They come in tons of color options, with pale green, milk tea, and purple being three more of my top picks.
Huo Ji LED Keyboard
Can you tell I’m obsessed with dreamy pastels? I love the gradient color scheme on this keyboard, as well as the soft LED backlight. There’s a white variant that I love, too. Maybe even more than the blue-pink but this one has a better image quality.
Apparel & Wearables
Dokotoo Fuzzy Fleece
I work from home and this sweater cloak is such a vibe. The hood is adorable, too. Grey is my personal favorite but it comes in other colors. You can also pick fun patterns, like animal prints, plaid, camo greens, and tie-dye.
Nintendo Store Animal Crossing Socks
These Animal Crossing ankle socks are insanely cute. I only wish they had more character options! It’s official Nintendo merchandise, too. My wishlist for Animal Crossing characters to appear on more merchandise is Roald, Klaus, and Mitzi. (Is anyone from Nintendo reading this? Hello? lol) Let me know who you want to see on your socks in the comment section!
Controller Gear Animal Crossing Mini Backpack
I am a backpack and bag addict. I have one for every reason and every season. This cute little Animal Crossing backpack is perfect for carrying all your bells and bugs. I have almost pulled the trigger on buying this one so many times. But I actually already own a Ghastly evolutions backpack, and I feel like I would never be able to pick between them.
SAZAC Pokemon Onesie
Full disclosure: I have grocery shopped in my onsie. I don’t have a pokemon one (yet) because I wanted to start with a cheaper one to ensure I would actually use it. Turns out, I do! Too much, some might say. I have taken work meetings in this thing. Snorlax just makes so much sense as a onsie, but the Eeveelution ones always call to me, too.
Toys & Hobbies
Stardew Valley Board Game
The Stardew Valley board game works as a gift for board game fans or Stardew Valley fans. There needs to be more cooperative (as opposed to competitive) board game options like this one. There! I said it!
Do adults still have time for board game nights? Yeesh. I keep meaning to host one but my apartment is so small and I don’t own that many chairs. Oh, and my cat is rude to guests!
Stardew Valley Junimo Plush
I am a full grown adult with a plushie collection. Zero shame. Personally, I collect Eeveelution stuffies but this Junimo Plush is perfect for the Stardew Valley fanatic in your social circle.
Funko Pop Pokemon Advent Calendar
Speaking of Pokemon merch… No matter what you think about Funko Pops, Pokemon are perfect for this format. This Pokemon Funko advent calendar lets you open a box per day to reveal a tiny toy from December 1st to 24th! You can watch an unboxing here.
Have you seen those wonky Pokemon toy advent calendars going around in Instagram and TikTok? Very, “We have Pokemon toys at home” energy with these lil’ guys. The Funko version is way better quality, I promise!
Animal Crossing 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Game
I love doing puzzles but I’ve had to stick to digital puzzles, only, because my cat goes crazy for the little pieces. He also loves chewing up cardboard, so trying to keep track of 1000 pieces feels futile to me. But if I could, I would love to put together an Animal Crossing puzzle and eventually frame it. Or just keep busting it up and re-doing it every weekend. I really like doing puzzles. haha
Buy Them a Game!
Honestly, we’re all gamers here! Why not just buy them a game? You can easily gift a game on Steam or buy them a hard copy for their console of choice. Here are some game lists I recommend checking out for ideas:
- Cozy Farming Sims
- Cozy Games That Aren’t Farming Sims
- Cozy Games Like Animal Crossing
- Cozy Games Rated Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam
- Cozy Games for Mac
- Cozy Games on Nintendo Switch
- Cozy Games that are Story Driven
Conclusion
There’s nothing quite like getting a gift that perfectly fits your interests and aesthetic. These are my gift ideas for cozy gamers. They are all items that I would love to receive myself (some I already own) or stuff that I have researched enough that I would feel comfortable gifting it to a close friend.
Stay cozy, gamers!
