Are you excited for Princess Peach: Showtime? Releasing on March 22, 2024, this cozy game marks the first time Princess Peach of the Super Mario franchise will play the lead in her very own solo title. The game takes place in a theatrical world where Peach can don the costume of a ninja, cowgirl, swordfighter, detective, and more, with each attire giving her a new set of abilities with which to explore varying puzzle-platformer levels. And here’s hoping that Nintendo Switch 2 roadmap maintains the Princess Peach hype.

Given that the game centres around Peach changing outfits to fit the current scenario, it makes so much sense that Nintendo would announce a pastel pink Joy-Con set to go with the game—the Nintendo Switch’s own version of a thematic costume. The pastel pink Joy-Cons aren’t the first pastel-colored controllers to grace the system, except these ones will reportedly be available for a limited time only.
Preorders for the Nintendo Switch pastel pink Joy-Cons are available online for various retailers, from Amazon to Walmart to the Nintendo Store itself. Many stores seem to already be sold out as gamers snatched up the chic Joy-Con set ASAP, with Amazon being one of the first e-retailers to announce they are out of stock. Some shoppers are reporting better luck at places like Best Buy or GameStop (PowerUp Rewards Pro membership required for preorder).
