It’s winter break, 1994. You step off the train into the snowy wonderland of Yukihari, expecting little more than a relaxing holiday at your aunt’s cozy mountain resort. But fate has other plans. Your older brother shows up—along with childhood friends you haven’t seen in years. What starts as a simple getaway quickly transforms into a whirlwind of rekindled friendships, buried emotions, and a romance you never saw coming.
This charming otome game, inspired by beloved 90s shoujo anime and manga like Sailor Moon, Marmalade Boy, and Cardcaptor Sakura, is the passion project of a dedicated two-woman team.
Now, Snowkissed Romance is live on Kickstarter, giving fans the chance to support its full release—while a free demo on itch.io and Steam lets players experience the first three days of their magical winter holidays.

We love LGBTQ+ inclusivity in dating games!!
Choose your name, gender, zodiac sign, and blood type, then shape your personality through a fun personality quiz. Every choice you make—how you interact, the activities you pursue, even your reactions—affects not only your story but also your compatibility with potential love interests. Are you charming and flirtatious? Shy and introspective? The game adapts to your style.
2. Real-Time Personality & Stat Management
This is so D&D-coded, I love it.
Your choices don’t just affect the story—they shape you. Track key stats like Intelligence, Athleticism, Sensitivity, Style, Elegance, Resilience, Charisma, Charm, and Stress. Will you be the brainy type, the sporty adventurer, or the effortlessly stylish heartthrob? The way you play determines how others see you.
3. A Love Letter to the 90s
And this is why I’ll be playing it day one, yup yup yup.
Set in 1994-1995, Snowkissed Romance is drenched in era-authentic nostalgia. Every location features different lighting variations for morning, afternoon, and evening, while the soundtrack channels the warm, melodic tones of classic 90s anime. Even in-game details—from the messaging system to the retro-styled cocoa shop—immerse players in the magic of the decade.

Meet four captivating love interests, each with a rich personality and an emotional storyline to uncover. Whether you fall for the childhood friend, the mysterious loner, the easygoing flirt, or the cool intellectual, your relationships unfold through beautifully illustrated scenes and fully voiced dialogue. The game features voice acting by anime stars such as David Matranga, Aaron Dismuke, Kaiji Tang, and Jessie-James Grelle.
5. Interactive & Unique Gameplay
Snowkissed Romance isn’t just about dialogue—it’s about choices, strategy, and immersion:
- Dates & Daily Encounters: Plan your days wisely! Will you go skiing, soak in the onsen, or spend time at the cozy café? Morning and night events unlock additional voiced interactions.
- Café Mini-Game: Work at your aunt’s Cocoa Shop to earn money for gifts and activities—but don’t overdo it, or stress might cut your vacation short!
- Randomized Events: Changing weather and spontaneous encounters make each playthrough feel fresh and unpredictable.
- Harem-Style Dating: Want to date multiple love interests? Some characters might just be open to it—if they get along well enough!
- Nightly Messages: Before bed, you might get a heartfelt message—or a flirty voicemail—from your favorite character.
6. A Star-Studded Voice Acting Cast
Snowkissed Romance will only be fully voice acted if they reach their stretch goal allowing for it, but even with the current here-or-there VAs, the cast is phenomenal:
- Yoh is voiced by Kaiji Tang, the voice of Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen, Jinshi in Apothecary Diaries, and Osamu Daizai in Bungo Stray Dogs.
- Kichirou is voiced by Aaron Dismuke, the voice of Senku Ishigami in DR. STONE, Miyuki Shirogane in Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, and Prince Arslan in the Heroic Legend of Arslan.
- Ren is voiced by David Matranga, the voice of Shoto Todoroki in My Hero, Takumi Usui in Maid-Sama, and Tomoya Okazaki in Clannad.
- Shinichirou is voiced by Jessie-James Grelle, the voice of Ritsuka Uenoyama in Given, Satan in the Devil is a Part-Timer!, and Yuri Katasuki in Yuri!!! on Ice.
